Lost Highway

Paperback original with Gifford letter

Lynch & Gifford created this over-the-top surrealistic film sometime after Lynch got an idea for the title from a book by Gifford, as Lynch explains in the foreword (which is in fact an interview with Lynch by Chris Rodley). Laid into the book are xeroxes of some early reviews of the film, including one in French. Also, laid in, is a long handwritten letter (well over 250 words) from author Gifford to close friend Marshall Clements dated March 1997 commenting about the film, the reviews ("it's a blockbuster in France") and several of his other projects, including a forthcoming novel. Screenplay issued softcover only. An interesting package.
