Five poets have each contributed a handwritten fair copy of one of their poems, all dated and personalized to Babcock. Includes "Daybreak" by Galway Kinnell (August 1, 1984, Sheffield, VT); "Happiness" by Raymond Carver (November 17, 1984, Syracuse, NY); "Unsteady Yellow" by Tess Gallagher (November 18, 1984, Syracuse, NY); "Brockport, New York: Beginning With And" by William Heyen (March 1988, Brockport, NY); and "Taking the Lambs to Market" by Maxine Kumin (January 9, 1997, Warner, NH). A unique item with strong association to the esteemed bookseller and small press publisher.
