Julian Comstock - A Story of 22nd-Century America

Signed first edition, 2009
Julian Comstock: A Story of 22nd-Century America (2009) is set in 2172, a century after industrial civilization collapsed following the exhaustion of fossil fuels. The United States has regressed into a feudal society ruled by an entrenched aristocracy and the Church of the Dominion, a theocratic institution that controls education, suppresses inconvenient history, and treats skepticism as heresy. The story follows Julian Comstock, nephew of the ruling President-Consul, whose curiosity and independent thinking make him both remarkable and dangerous, narrated by his loyal friend Adam Hazzard in the voice of a nineteenth-century adventure memoir. A Hugo Award nominee. Expanded from Wilson's 2006 novella Julian: A Christmas Story. Signed by Wilson on the title page.
