Eye In The Sky
In this imaginative, early novel by Dick, a group of people find themselves stuck in multiple alternate realities after a malfunction with a particle accelerator. They eventually learn that the alternate universes are manifestations of each person’s subconscious. The nature of subjective realities is a prevalent theme throughout Dick’s works. The novel also explores theologicial questions, solipsism, and fears about McCarthy-era authoritarianism.
