The Kill Order

A prequel to the original trilogy, set in the years immediately following the solar flares before the Maze was constructed. The central characters are Mark and Alec, survivors navigating a world in social collapse as WICKED's predecessor organization begins releasing the Flare virus into surviving populations as a deliberate population control measure. The novel provides the backstory for the catastrophe the trilogy's characters were born into.
