The Collected Stories by Philip K. Dick consisted of 500 numbered sets, of which this is #79 of 100 specially bound in imitation leather with marbled endpapers and extra leaf with a mounted signature of Dick's that was cut from a canceled check. Also, laid in is a folded leaflet, "Brief Synopsis for Alternate World Novel: The Acts of Paul," describing an unpublished PKD novel. This set collects all of Dick's published short stories, plus six previously unpublished stories. Includes a preface by PKD, a foreword by Steven Owen Godersky and introductions by Roger Zelazny, Norman Spinrad, John Brunner, James Tiptree, Jr. and Thomas M. Disch, along with story notes with some commentary by Dick.
