A Tapestry of Time

First edition, 1982
A Tapestry of Time (1982) by Richard Cowper is the concluding volume of the White Bird of Kinship series. Cowper's author's note describes it as the final chapter in a sequence that began with "Piper at the Gates of Dawn" and flowed through The Road to Corlay and A Dream of Kinship. The novel is structured in two parts, "The Singer and the Song" and "The Cartwright Papers," and brings the series' themes of music, spiritual resistance, and temporal mystery to a close. First edition published by Victor Gollancz.
