Logan's Run

Logan's Run (1967) by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson is set in a future society where overpopulation is controlled through mandatory death at twenty-one, with enforcers known as DS men hunting anyone who attempts to flee. Basis for the 1976 film starring Michael York and Jenny Agutter. First British edition of Logan's Run, published by Victor Gollancz the following year after the American edition, and scarce. Signed by both authors on the title page, with Nolan's signature self-portrait.
