Heathern

Heathern (1990) is the third Dryco novel, set in a New York where corporate and religious authority have merged into something barely distinguishable. A Dryco executive becomes entangled with a woman who may be the second coming of Christ, or may be mentally ill, or both. Womack himself noted the book gave readers trouble, as the inscription in this copy reflects that. British first edition, which precedes the American hardcover by a couple months.
