Binti

Binti (2015) is the first novella in Okorafor's acclaimed trilogy, following a young Himba mathematician who becomes the first of her people to attend the prestigious interstellar Oomza University, and finds herself caught between warring human and alien cultures during the journey. Originally published as a print-on-demand paperback in 2015, this first hardcover edition was published by Tor.com in 2018 and includes a new foreword by N. K. Jemisin. Winner of both the Hugo and Nebula Awards for Best Novella.
