Seeklight (1975) is K. W. Jeter's first novel, an adventure story set on an unnamed colony world. Daenek, the outcast son of a former leader, comes of age and attempts to lead his people against the entropic forces threatening their planet, while mysterious sociologists with advanced technology observe from the margins with unclear intent. Barry Malzberg, who wrote the introduction, praised it highly. Number 7 in the Laser Books series published by Harlequin, with cover art by Kelly Freas throughout the series. Signed by Jeter on the title page.
