Madlands

Madlands (1991) is set in a future Los Angeles that exists partly as a virtual construct. Extended immersion in the multiple simultaneous realities it offers causes cellular deterioration and grotesque physical transformation, which has not deterred the cult figure Identrope from building a following around it. A crime noir plot runs through Jeter's characteristically entropic backdrop. Signed by Jeter on the title page.
